Everything published here, including service pages, articles, event listings and practitioner profiles, is general information. It is not medical advice, it is not tailored to your circumstances, and it should never replace a consultation with a qualified health practitioner who knows your history.

Do not delay seeking medical advice, or disregard advice you have been given, because of something you read on this site.

Emergencies

Origia is not an emergency service. This website is not monitored. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 000 or go to your nearest emergency department.

No practitioner-patient relationship

Using this website, submitting a form or booking an appointment does not by itself create a practitioner-patient relationship. That relationship begins at your consultation.

Accuracy

We take care to keep information current and accurate, but medicine changes and errors happen. We make no warranty that content is complete, current or error-free, and we may change or remove material at any time without notice.

Details such as practitioner availability, service offerings and event arrangements are subject to change.

Bookings and fees

Appointments booked through this site are subject to confirmation by our practice. Fees are advised before your appointment is confirmed; any fee information appearing elsewhere is indicative only.

Cancellation and non-attendance terms are set out in your booking confirmation.

Your use of the site

You agree not to use this site unlawfully, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, to interfere with its operation, or to scrape or reproduce its content commercially without our written permission.

Do not submit clinical details, test results or sensitive health information through the contact form. It is not a secure channel.

Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, photography, the Origia name, the dandelion mark and other branding, is owned by Origia or used under licence, and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Third-party links and services

This site links to third-party services, including our online booking provider and external health resources. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Their terms apply when you use them.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Origia excludes liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
