Investigations first, then the options in order, from timed cycles and ovulation induction through IUI, IVF, ICSI and donor pathways
Fertility, pregnancy, birth and women's health care, with the psychologists, physiotherapists, doulas, naturopaths and nurses who look after the rest of you, all under one roof.
Our story
A first heartbeat. A first decision to try. A first appointment, made with hope and a little fear.
We named this place Origia because that's what it holds space for: not just the origin of a pregnancy, but the origin of a woman becoming a mum, a man becoming a dad, a new chapter in whatever shape it takes.
Fertility and obstetric care don't happen in isolation, so we didn't build a clinic that treats them that way. Whatever brings you here, you'll be met by people who have time for the whole of it.
What we do
Medical care from specialists who have done this thousands of times, and allied care from practitioners who work in the same building and talk to each other. You shouldn't have to project-manage your own health.
Investigations first, then the options in order, from timed cycles and ovulation induction through IUI, IVF, ICSI and donor pathways
Diagnosis and long-term management of endometriosis: hormonal, surgical, physiotherapy and pain support, without the years of waiting
Specialist care for periods, pelvic pain, PCOS, fibroids, contraception, cervical screening and menopause, at every stage of life
Consulting psychology with Cath Corcoran, for the fertility, pregnancy and early-parenting chapters that ask a great deal of you.
Antenatal care through all three trimesters with your own obstetrician, the same face from your first scan to your postnatal visit.
The arc of care
Preconception
The quiet, unglamorous work of getting your body and your questions in order: cycle tracking, screening, and an honest conversation about what's ahead.
Explore PreconceptionFertility & IVF
Investigation that actually explains something, then a plan: ovulation induction, IUI or IVF, with naturopathic and psychological support alongside it, not instead of it.
Explore Fertility & IVFPregnancy
Shared antenatal care with your obstetrician, your midwife and, if you want them, your doula and physiotherapist, all in the one building, all reading the same notes.
Explore PregnancyBirth
Your birth, planned the way you want it and supported by people who already know you. We work with your choices rather than around them.
Explore BirthBeyond
Recovery is care too. Pelvic floor physiotherapy, postpartum doula support, psychology, and a gynaecologist who is still yours for the decades that follow.

How we work
Under one roof, we've brought together obstetrics, gynaecology and fertility medicine with the nurses, midwives and doulas who walk beside you day to day, and the psychologists, acupuncturists, women's physiotherapists, naturopaths and medical-grade skin specialists who care for the rest of you while your body does the hardest, most extraordinary work it will ever do.
This is what we mean by whole-person care. It means your obstetrician knows you've been seeing our psychologist. It means your physiotherapy appointment can sit alongside your antenatal visit. It means you tell your story once.
Medical and allied care in the same building, with your consent to share what matters between us. No repeating yourself at every new appointment.
Appointments built around a conversation, not a conveyor belt. If something has been dismissed before, we want to hear about it properly.
Clear guidance about what's known, what isn't, and what's realistic for you, so decisions feel like yours rather than something that happened to you.
From the months before trying to the years after birth, and through everything women's health covers in between. We don't discharge you at the end of a chapter.

Good to know
If yours isn't here, call the clinic and someone who knows the answer will pick up.
For our medical specialists in obstetrics, gynaecology and fertility, a referral from your GP is the usual first step, and it helps us understand your history before you arrive.
Our allied practitioners, including physiotherapy, psychology, naturopathy, Chinese medicine, doula support and nursing services, can generally be seen without one. If you're not sure, call us on (03) 9416 1586 and we'll sort it out with you.
We're at Suite 8, Level 7, 36 Wellington Street, Collingwood, near Smith Street.
For directions or anything about parking, get in touch when you book and we'll point you in the right direction. If mobility is a concern, let us know and we'll make it easy.
Always. Fertility, pregnancy and gynaecological decisions rarely belong to one person alone, and two sets of ears in an appointment is genuinely useful.
Children are welcome too, though for longer consultations you may find it easier to have someone mind them.
Fees vary depending on which practitioner you see and what your appointment involves.
Our team will talk you through the costs for your specific situation before anything is booked, so there are no surprises. Just ask when you call.
Start with a phone call. Describe what's going on in your own words and our team will help you work out who to see first. That's part of what a village is for.
If you'd rather not talk it through, book an initial consultation with the practitioner whose page sounds closest, and we'll redirect you if someone else is a better fit.
Book with any of our health practitioners, or talk to us first about where to start.
